Music has been an essential part of my life since my childhood in the suburbs of New York City. I started flute in the fourth grade and took weekly lessons at Julliard Prep though my senior year. After college, I came to Montana for a teaching job, met my husband, and raised four children. I started playing in the Symphony 40 years ago during its very first season. Besides music, I enjoy kayaking, cross-country skiing, writing, and my four grandchildren.
