If you are interested in auditioning for Glacier Symphony Orchestra’s substitute list, we will be holding auditions in the Spring of 2027. Can’t wait? You can submit a resume anytime to info@gsocmusic.org. Audition clips are encouraged but not required.
GSOC will be auditioning for our substitute musician list for the following instruments:
Flute
Oboe
Clarinet
Percussion
Violin
Viola
Per service compensation (an average of 5 services per series):
Principal: $75
Section: $45
Per diem and mileage rates apply for musicians traveling more than 50 miles, and housing will be arranged.
An in-person audition is greatly preferred. However, in the event that you're not able to make it, you may submit a video audition. The video must have been recorded in the last 30 days and be made in one take—no cuts. At the beginning of the video, please state your name, the date, and the excerpts you have chosen to play. Please email your video, along with your resume of playing experience, to info@gsocmusic.org.
