please consider giving to your symphony to bring back the programming and community impact you love, year after year.

Encore! Means the audience wants more. And we wish to deliver you more!

We want to see Glacier Symphony continue to bring music to the hearts of our Flathead Valley listeners, and we hope you feel the same and demand an Encore! from us. In order to come back to the stage for years to come, we are planning responsible methods to grow our impact and fiscal health as your symphony.

Did you know that over half of the cost of delivering the exceptional Glacier Symphony programming you cherish comes from community support? Your generous contribution is essential in maintaining access to musical excellence as a cornerstone of our Flathead Valley community. As we conclude another remarkable season and gear up for Season 42, our vision is to not only continue enriching concert experiences at McClaren Hall but also expand our reach across the Valley through collaborative community outreach initiatives with businesses, schools, healthcare facilities, and more! Your donation to our Encore! Annual Fund will play a pivotal role in supporting our financial stability and amplifying the impact of Glacier Symphony's programming.

Your financial support holds incredible power in enabling Glacier Symphony to bring more exceptional music, culture, and entertainment to our community year-round. By making a gift today, you not only bolster our musical endeavors and community initiatives but also become an esteemed friend of the symphony. As a valued member, you gain access to a host of exclusive benefits, bringing you closer to the music you adore. For instance, in our 42nd season, donors in our Maestro Circle will have the exclusive opportunity to mingle with fellow symphony friends of note, esteemed guest artists, select musicians and singers, Maestro Zoltek himself, and other distinguished guests at pre-concert Bravo Receptions and private Soloist Spotlight Series events.

With your unwavering support, we aim to deliver even more to you, our cherished audience, this year. Anticipate an expanded lineup of concerts, a diverse range of programs, esteemed guest artists, enriching Youth Music Experience programs, enhanced concert experiences, and memorable symphony soirees.

Every Gift matters and will help us reach our fundraising goal of

$325,000

to support Glacier Symphony’s fiscal health and programming in our 41st Season

Excellence today.

Incomparable music in an incomparable part of the world.

From a modest beginning in 1982, the Glacier Symphony has grown into a full symphony orchestra and chorale offering a year-round performance schedule … a significant cultural asset contributing to a vibrant community and changing lives through great music. How do we do it?

  • Programming an increasingly dynamic and inspiring variety of musical experiences from the classical repertoire and beyond.

  • Inviting acclaimed guest artists to perform with the Symphony and collaborating with artists in visual arts, theater, film, poetry, and dance to delight audiences of all ages.

  • Culturally enhancing our valley to attract tourism dollars and business development.

  • Employing local/regional musicians throughout our concert season.

  • Partnering with local businesses and organizations to increase the positive impact of our concerts, events, and music education programs.

Building Tomorrow.

More music for more people.

Flathead Valley audiences embraced performances in our new concert home, McClaren Hall at the Wachholz College Center, in a big way during its first year! For our upcoming season, Glacier Symphony plans even more! Our goals include:

  • Bringing audiences more concerts, program variety, and extraordinary guest artists.

  • Expanding outreach and music education through our community/business partnerships and Youth Music Experience programs.

  • Continue artistic growth by increasing compensation for musicians comparable to other Montana and regional orchestras.

  • Building operating reserves to provide stability for our organization and growing our endowment to provide a base of financial security.

  • Purchasing a smaller office building for our small staff, music library, and box office. This investment will keep overhead expenses at a manageable level for many years and provide a long-term home for operations, allowing us to focus available funds and energies on Glacier Symphony performances.
