Catherine Robinson currently teaches voice and piano at the North Valley Music School in Whitefish after retiring from teaching choral music in Idaho, Washington, Montana, and New Mexico. She performed leading and supporting roles in musicals and operas and sang with the New Mexico Symphony Orchestra Chorale and Portland Symphonic Choir. Catherine directed musical theatre productions at the high school level and received the Outstanding Music Director award from the 5th Avenue Theatre for Kentridge High School’s production of Evita. Catherine performed with The Santa Fe Desert Chorale and The Santa Fe Opera and was the conductor of Coro de Cámara for eight seasons. Catherine received a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Vocal Music Education from the University of Idaho and a Master’s degree in Choral Conducting from California State University Los Angeles.
