Sarah Church

About Sarah

Sarah Church has a Bachelor of Music from the University of Idaho where she studied violin with Dr. Robert Billups. Soon after receiving her music degree, Sarah moved to Portland, Oregon where she studied violin with Dr. William Hunt. Sarah has been a core violinist with many symphonies including the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and Bravo! Chamber Orchestra (Vancouver, WA), the West Coast Symphony (Vancouver, BC), Temple Symphony (Temple, TX), and the Salt Lake Symphony (Salt Lake City, UT). She has also played with the Oregon Festival of Music (Eugene, OR), Musical Theater Company (Portland, OR), the American Institute of Musical Studies (Graz, Austria), and several chamber music ensembles. Sarah also holds a Masters (University of Utah) and PhD in Planning (University of British Columbia). She is currently a core violinist with the Bozeman Symphony Orchestra, and enjoys playing with the Glacier Symphony whenever she can come to the beautiful Flathead Valley.
