AM Muse

Digital Performance ONLY – November 28 – 29

It’s a “hometown affair” this November! This chamber orchestra concert will offer a variety of American music by familiar and those not-so-familiar composers celebrating our own orchestral talent as soloists. On the menu will be the original chamber version with thirteen musicians of the popular ballet, Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland, Samuel Barber’s moving Adagio for Strings, and more. Principal flutist Beth Pirrie will be featured in the Poem for Flute and Orchestra by Charles Griffes. Local percussionist Jeremy Reinbolt also will join the Glacier Symphony and Maestro Zoltek on this unique concert cornucopia with his arrangement of George Gershwin’s Three Preludes for Piano.
